OUR WHY

The two decades of conflict has changed the composition of the population seeking medical care within VA facilities and civilian practices. Deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Syria and Africa have young men and women returning home, with multi-factorial exposures and a wide array of symptoms.

Service members do not deploy unhealthy, but they return with progressive illnesses and worsening symptoms.

As the conflicts in these countries continues, so does the increasingly, alarming rates of cancers, rare illnesses and idiopathic symptoms in our fellow veterans returning home.

As a team consisting of military veterans and medical professionals, we’ve been given a ‘second chance’, we made it home alive. We are committed to giving back to those who served before us, after us and side-by-side with us, by conducting medical research and offering solutions for a better quality of life.

It is our curiosity

as medical researchers that drives us to discover the root cause of these often terminal illnesses through evidence-based, scientific data.

It is our passion

to help others as nurses and medical professionals and to educate our peers on military exposure related conditions and illnesses.

It is our duty

as fellow veterans to share our research with the veteran population and empower them to be proactive about their health.

Our Programs

Research

The HunterSeven Foundation research is multi-factorial and is focused on researching the impact of military-related exposures on health and overall wellness of the service member. The objective of the research is to discover the root-cause of dysfunction and understand the trends that influence this dysfunction.

Education

HunterSeven Foundation believes knowledge is power. Our education program is designed to share important medically-proven data and research with the veteran and healthcare communities, to increase awareness of military exposures and the impact on veteran health. Understanding your exposures is the first step to wellness.

Immediate Needs

HunterSeven Foundation, through strategic partnerships and foundation resources, assists individuals that have been made ill as a result of military exposures by providing access to care and medical resources needed for improved health.
